Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of asktube. By using the service, you agree to them. asktube is provided free of charge, and we want it to stay simple and fair — please read the highlights below.

1. Who provides asktube

asktube ("asktube", "we", "us", "our") is operated by MEMEXAI TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in Bangalore, India. These terms form an agreement between you and us. If you don't agree with them, please don't use asktube.

2. The service

asktube lets you build a personal library from the YouTube channels and playlists you follow and have AI-powered conversations and searches across that library. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued as the product evolves.

3. YouTube API Services and the YouTube Terms of Service

asktube uses YouTube API Services to access your subscriptions, playlists, and video metadata. By using asktube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of data obtained through YouTube is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. How asktube accesses and handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You need a Google account to sign in, and you must be at least 13 years old to use asktube. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your access secure.

5. It's free

asktube is provided at no cost. There are no paid tiers and no plans to monetize the service. Because the AI agent runs through Bodhi App with your own model, any costs associated with your chosen AI provider are between you and that provider.

6. Acceptable use

When using asktube, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Violate the YouTube Terms of Service or YouTube's policies.
• Attempt to access data, libraries, or accounts that are not yours.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the service in ways that harm others.

7. Your content and sources

asktube works with content from YouTube that you choose to follow. Your use of that content remains subject to YouTube's own terms and the rights of the original creators. You're responsible for ensuring your use of the material is appropriate.

8. Third-party services

asktube relies on third parties, including Google/YouTube for sign-in and source data, and Bodhi App for the AI agent. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services we don't control.

9. AI output

Answers from the agent are generated by an AI model and may be incomplete or incorrect. Treat them as a helpful starting point, not authoritative fact, and verify anything important against the original videos.

10. Availability

We work to keep asktube running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, asktube and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Since asktube is free, our total liability is limited accordingly.

12. Termination

You may stop using asktube and delete your account at any time. You can also revoke our access to your Google data from your Google Account permissions page. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Bangalore, India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make material updates, we'll revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use asktube means you accept the updated terms.
